Facebook Phone Instagram I was looking for a PT who could help to improve my fitness but who was also understands of my disability. I got in touch with the head coach Sean Hibbert and started having PT's on a weekly basis. He understood how to manage my disability and what would benefit me training wise. As Sean gets to know you he knows what you are capable of and will push you to achieve the best you can. In April I joined the gym and started attending the classes on a weekly basis. Sean is able to adapt classes to fit any level of ability. Everyone in the gym is welcoming and everyone encourages each other. This is the first gym I have every really felt like I am getting value for money because I am motivated to attend. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone! Basically diagnosed me on the spot - told me the problem how to fix it. £12 spent on a ball - so I built my fitness back up slowly. Everyone is so friendly and the classes are always different each time. The coaches are fab as they put you at ease explaining everything before we complete the class. WHAT WE OFFER Find the right one for you BUILT BY HELEN Built by Helen is a Strength & Conditioning class designed by IBFA Champion and Miss Britain Helen Louis. This class will allow you to build strength and improve your aesthetics by training muscle groups such as your quads, biceps, hamstring and glutes. You will work on movements such as the deadlift, back squat and bench press. Using training techniques such as, Super sets, giant sets and hyper trophy. Duration: 1 hour ENGINE ROOM A workout designed using function fitness movements along with "Monostructural" metabolic conditioning activities or “cardio” like Running, Rowing, and Jumping Ropes. This workout is accessible for all levels and abilities. It improves the efficiency of the energy pathways in the body so that you can do a lot more in less time. It helps you burn more calories, resulting in faster weight loss. The calories continue to burn even after your workout. Duration: 1 hour FUNCTIONAL FITNESS This class consists of bodyweight movements, weightlifting, gymnastics and cardiovascular training to improve all areas of your fitness. This class is designed for all levels of fitness and abilities, we offer 4 versions of each workout to allow everyone to join in. - Foundation - Scaled - Intermediate - Rx Classes are 1 hour long consisting of a 10 minute warm up/ 40 minute lesson/ 10 minute cool down. Classes maybe Individual or Team. Duration 1 hour PROJECT BOOTCAMP Military based training session with our Ex-Military Physical Training Instructor. This class is designed for all levels of fitness and abilities. The class will use equipment such as sandbags, kettlebells, worms, Concept 2 ergs and much more. 10 minute warm up/ 40 minute lesson/ 10 minute cool down. After only a week of sessions I feel better already. Sean is very knowledgeable and very friendly and welcoming to new members. Our Head Coach, Sean Hibbert is an Ex-Military PTI (Physical Training Instructor) and has always displayed a passion for health and fitness. In February 2020, he opened up Project Fitness GB with the aim to create an inclusive community based gym that looks beyond just physical ability but the person as a whole. We offer a range of services including; personal training, group based exercise classes, nutritional advice and open gym sessions. All of our weighted equipment is brand new and state of the art and we have a custom rig. Free parking and also secured with 24 hour CCTV , which is a major bonus! We also have an onsite sports massage therapist . REVIEWS Joined in July after lockdown and enjoyed it so much got my wife and niece to join also. Great range of equipment and the gym is spotless but the best bit is Sean the owner/coach. Brilliant motivator who can adapt workouts for each individual depending on fitness levels so everyone is made to feel part of the team. Paul Hughes Joined Project Fitness GB beginning of the year, it’s the first gym I’ve been to where I feel like I fit in. All shapes and sizes go. Now I go on average 5-6 times a week. Sean is a fantastic coach and there is a good focus on mental health. My physical and mental health have both improved ten-fold. Definitely recommend. Join Now Great gym with great people. Sean and his team cater to all individuals at all fitness levels. The support you get is exceptional. This is by far the best gym in the area and Sean should be very proud at what he has accomplished in such a short space in time.
